1 Irene Feher – I’m very interested in your study. I had that done, voice range profile, when I was in Germany. I’m wondering whether there would be a value in comparing this with our speaking voices. Because essentially, this is really used to monitor the health of the spoken voice and whether there would be any value in comparing this - doing a voice range profile on the singing voice as well as the speaking voice. 2 Johan Sundberg – This is very interesting, your study. I think it is tempting to ask the question "what’s the problem?" We hear that the singers are developing in vocal skills as they get more skilled and the voice range profile kind of refuses to show that. There must be some error somewhere. One possibility is, as you pointed out, that the sound pressure level is a poor measure of what we perceive as loudness.
