Rebecca Wilberg earned two bachelor of music degrees from Arizona State University in choral education and vocal performance. She received her master’s degree in vocal performance and her PhD in musicology and choral music from Brigham Young University. From 1986 to 1999 she served on the faculty of BYU, where she taught classes in the theory, musicology, choral, and vocal areas and retired as a senior lecturer in voice. Since 1984 Rebecca has lectured in her area of specialty—French grand opera. She has performed as a recital, concert, chamber music, and operatic artist, and she continues to be active as a choral adjudicator and vocal clinician. Rebecca Wilberg currently maintains a private vocal studio in the Salt Lake Valley.
